Hi, Genevieve de la Croix here! I opened Move in Wilderness, South Africa due to my love for health and fitness and my drive to help others find their happy place in the gym. I have been passionate about the importance of healthy food and moving my body my entire life. I love exercise and assisting others in creating a healthy lifestyle by making it fun, and keeping their exercise programme interesting and challenging.

I am qualified and have plenty experience teaching Resistance Training, Power Yoga and Pilates. I am passionate about what I do and there is a purpose and intention with every exercise class I give.

I am a perfectionist and very focused on making sure correct form and technique is followed at all times to prevent injury and to get the best results.

THE GOAL

Changing your lifestyle is not an easy process. I understand that consistency is key and that it is all a mental process. Together we will exercise to strengthen both your mind and body so that they may look after one another. I will be with you every step of the way, because your fitness goal is my goal.

TRAINING EXPERIENCE AT MOVE

I will be providing group Weight Training, Pilates and Power Yoga classes. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, I will be working closely with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals.

We have classes at varying intensities to accommodate all fitness levels, with great variety to challenge your body in different ways. Our space is welcoming – carefully curated to ensure that you enjoy every minute spent with us.

At Move, we focus on enhancing Mobility, Strength, Technique, and Endurance. It’s a journey that promises not just a physical transformation but also a renewed sense of vitality and energy.

Our team is experienced, knowledgeable, creative and we bring a unique energy to every class. We undertake to teach you how to creatively blend the power of your mind with the movement of your body in a way that is both efficient and enjoyable.

Pilates Mat

Having been a fitness trainer for over 20 years, I believe fitness can be anything you want it to be and should be based on something you want to do, rather than you have to do.

I love Pilates, especially the more traditional form. At times, I also use my certification as a Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer, to build classes that people look forward to.

I am very focused on form to protect the body, and hope to help people become the version of themselves they want to be.

I am qualified in Pilates having obtained Pilates Mat Level 1 and 2, Equipment Pilates, Personal Training, Vinyasa Yoga and am also a qualified Health Coach.

We will sit with you and set realistic goals and create a plan to achieve them, ensuring that you are progressing and getting the desired results.

We will set up consistent times to meet and work out together. As this becomes part of your everyday routine, it will be easier to stick to.

Classes are kept small and a highly personal approach is taken to each member and their unique health and fitness goals.

We will spice up your exercise routine and incorporate new exercises and training techniques to keep things interesting, challenging and keep your progress on track.
